Crafted from the milk of free-grazed, pasture-raised Gir cows, this ghee is authentic & wholesome.

Our process starts with choosing the right cattle feed that's not sprayed with dangerous weedicides containing glyphosate. Then, we take the fresh milk, carefully turn it into yogurt using a natural starter culture and set it overnight. In the stillness of the early morning, the yogurt is then churned using the ancient Bilona method - clockwise and anticlockwise to separate the raw white butter. This butter is then gently simmered to create a rich, golden ghee filled with natural goodness.

Made daily in small batches and certified glyphosate free by The detox project, our A2 Gir cow cultured Ghee contains no additives, preservatives, chemicals or artificial ingredients. What Is GLYPHOSATE?

It is the key component in the most widely used chemical weedicide that’s extensively used by farmers. It can travel from soil to food causing risks like cancer and long term health effects. 

How is Glyphosate damaging?

It’s banned in 20+ countries, still permitted in India. It has links to cancer. It also travels from soil to cattle feed to ghee and can even be traced in humans.

What does "Cultured" mean?

It is common practice to make Ghee using cream or malai. "Culturing" is the process of inoculating either cream or milk with a natural curd starter for it to undergo fermentation to make Curd (Yoghurt) or Dahi. This Curd is then churned to separate the white butter (makkhan) which is then slowly heated and clarified to make Ghee.
